I agree with Sammie and really didn't expect room before 4PM. It was the 8PM & no text that got to me. CM reminded me about the "working on it" text we once got at BWV. Forgot about that.
OT. We met friends off-property in Winter Park. Great wine room with dozens of bottles for 1, 2, 4 oz. pours. Followed with a very good meal at Luma on Park. DS still says CG meal was better, but this was pretty darn good. Winter Park on our list for possible FL relocation spots.

I was born and raised in Winter Park. There aren't too many places like it! It's pretty wonderful! Glad you enjoyed it too!

I want to end this thread differently than I started it. We are checking out tomorrow AM. It was a really good vacation. Different, but enjoyable. Some great dining, ending with a delicious meal at Citrico tonight. We really enjoyed the Italian Regional Lunch yesterday. OK, I drank too much and had to take a nap, but great food & wine pairings. Sat with some fellow DVC owners, who live in FL.
Conclusion: some trips don't start as magical, but don't despair. It may all work out.
