Some Ticket Questions I Should Know the Answer To

We regularly go yearly during F&W timing the dates to get two 9 day visits under one AP. Next Feb we're staying near WDW for 3 weeks and our current AP will be expired as of early Nov 2020. So.. I suppose we'll be buying hoppers for the Feb 2021 visit because we probably won't go to WDW more than 7 or so days, meaning that we wouldn't get as much bang for the buck if we got APs for the Feb trip which would cover F&W 2021. I'm out of touch with the workings of non-AP passes but I believe we would have to use up all of our days within 14 days of first use, right? Also, if we're down to our last day, can we add another (or 2)? Thanks for any advice offered.

With the new date based tickets you have fewer days to use them. I don’t remember the specifics but I think it’s about 10 days to use 7 day tickets. You can still add days (up to a maximum of 10 days) up until park closing on the last day you use your ticket.

B. & C. 7-Day Ticket good any 7 days within 10 days beginning on start date (11 days with ParkHopper PLUS)

Thanks for the input, we're probably going to bite the bullet and just get an AP before the Feb 2021 trip. Actually what we do is get a multi day hopper from UT to save a few $$ and to make Fast Passes then we upgrade first day there. We're 20 mins from WDW right now having rented a house for the month of Feb and today will be the third time we'll have an unplanned visit to Epcot. The spontaneity is worth the cost.
