Hi all...I have gotten so much great info on this site thought I'd ask a few more questions. We are planning our *1st DISNEY TRIP* ever for June 11th through the 17th, will be staying on-site at All Star Sports and have the dining plan as well..no hopper tickets but will visit each park once and MK twice.

I booked through Disney (1-407-W-DISNEY) and have gotten confirmation letter with balance paid and such, also a letter with maps and basic info, then a letter with 3 luggage tags???? Will I get anything else? Do I get tickets and dining info upon check-in? Is it all on a card, ticket and dining info and all that jazz? probably a stupid question but I just wasn't sure.

Also, should I have some special "thing" to carry my ticket card? Do the kids have their own? (ds -4 & dd - 2)

Thank you so much!
Dawn

When you check into your resort your ID tag will be your room key, dining, and park tickets.

They do not supply card holders.

We went for our 1st trip in April, so I had the same concerns :) Everything is on the room key as noted above, but what I also wanted to point out that for us, we didn't need any holders (I put all of the room keys in my buttoned shorts pocket), and the only time the kiddos needed their card (each of us had our own) was to get into the parks--right after that, I put them in my pocket again (didn't want to risk losing anything). You can use your card for all of the dining credit redemptions--you don't each need to give your card to the server--one will do it.

I had them handy for the fastpass machine, and just showed the CM all of the keys when we were in line for the EMH wristbands at night. That worked for us. I really liked having everything on the room keys--fit right in the pocket with my credit card and we were set to go, so I doubt you'd need a special holder for them.

We usually do the same thing also--one person holds all the cards--works out well for us!!

:)

you can also put your credit card on your keys (either all of them or some of them) this way you don't need it either. On the dining front, You should go to the disney site and do some meal planning. We like to book at lest 1 meal a day , in the park as a gettaway from the crowds. You can search the site by park and what kind of meal (character, sit down or not, themed etc) and book those ASAP so you have them and don't get disapointed. I've learned that no matter how old or young and how "tough" you are a day in the parks needs a break and on the first trip you don't feel you can go back to the resort. If you like I can send you the itinarary I use this may help just to see what you can do.
