Went to Wilton's site (easy bake oven thread) looking for some cake pans I saw at a craft store and they had some really cute fall cake ideas posted.
Just passing it along in the event someone is looking to do something fun for home or a special event.

Okay so I've looked through the pans and found some really cute ones...especially some mini cake pans I think DD would love to do....might be a better investment than the Easy Bake Oven.
Looking at all the pans though.....I really want to try my hand at this. I can bake cakes but have never done any major decorating like this. We do have the Wilton Garfield pan, have had it almost as long as I've been married, it's been used once. The one time it was used I didn't decorate it, a friend who does cakes did. I know that my sister used Wilton pans to bake and decorate cakes for her kids and I know their directions are pretty easy to follow. Think I might try my hand at this this weekend. Any thoughts? I know I'm not going to turn out a perfectly decorated cake on the first try.......but am I going to be really frustrated and disappointed? How much work really goes into one of these things?
Any cake decorator's care to share. Maybe I need to wait and take a class at one of the stores first.
