We used TT last week and found them to be just fine. On time in a clean car. Had Hector as our driver. He wasn't really chatty but that was okay. We stayed at the Polynesian. Used the monorail a lot. The boat shuttle from Polynesian to MK was a lot of fun. Try it. The bus system is somewhat lacking here. We found the waits to be a little long. We were trying to get to AK for EE on Friday and 4 buses for MGM came through. Not sure why, since it was EE for AK, not MGM and it was just 7:10. And several 'Special' buses came through also. The AK bus came at about 7:30. We also found the wait at Typhoon Lagoon to go back to Polynesian a little on the long side. I realize that they can't run buses for just a few people. And there were some people really griping about it. THe wait was about 1/2 hr. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if the Downtown Disney buses hadn't been so prolific. If you tried to get on one of them, the driver would tell you that you were better off waiting for the Polynesian bus. Man, were people nasty to the drivers!!! Kept looking for Tyler but never saw him. Did see a lot of car accidents tho. Yikes!!! Have to feel sorry for the bus drivers with those tourists driving like certifiable nuts. But, all in all, we found transportation on-site to be just wonderful. TT was on time, if not a little early picking us up. Hector was much more chatty.
Our flight from Boston was good. Will use Song again if we get a good fare. We did have to take shoes off at Logan. And take all electronics out. I had actually packed it all in one camera case so it went quickly for us. Well, all except for the lady who saw something in my bag!! We just couldn't figure out what it was. THen we found the roll of quarters for lanundry. THat's me...armed and dangerous with my roll of quarters.
Security at MCO was much quicker. Could have been that there were fewer people at the time we got there. Since our driver was early, we were actually about 2 1/2 hrs. early for the flight!!
I must thank Tyler, and all his fellow bus drivers, for all their hard work, dealing with the public. It is a mighty job you do, all the while keeping a smile on your face. All the bus drivers we had were wonderful. Please, Tyler, thank them all for us.
