Some questions about going in October

I was just up at the parks not even a month ago, and we are planning on returning the weekend of October 19th. We will be heading to universal/islands on the 20th and 21st (saturday and sunday). My questions are:

1) How will the crowds be that weekend? (I believe HHN is going on..right?)

2) If in fact HHN is happening, are there any rides or things that will be closed during the day time?

3) We will be staying off-site at monumental movieland hotel(we payed around $106 for two nights through hotels dot com last trip, and the hotel was actually pretty decent)...will the price be much different as to when we stayed a month ago, based on HHN going on?

4) If I have the powerpass, and she has the next level up pass (preferred?), how much extra would it cost each of us if we wanted to go that saturday night we are in town?

Thank you for any/all information you guys give! :hyper:

1. Daytime crowds shouldn't be too bad but the Studios will start to get busy in the mid-afternoon hours and yes...HHN is every Saturday in October.

2. Nothing is closed during the day due to HHN.

3. You'll have to check that hotel rate yourself.

4. If you wanted to go to HHN on 10/20, it would cost $66.99 plus tax using the AP discount which is the same price as the Stay & Scream discount. You will be well advised to be in the park prior to closing so you can get a jump on the houses. Saturday is the busiest night.

i read on another thread that local schools have friday off during the period you plan your trip.
i know hell week brings lots of teens into the parks

friday might or might not be crowded but the weekends (sa&su) usually are.
