Some people???

While i have been off work sick i have been watching programs like airline and airport. The one thing i just don't get is why people turn up just has the checkin is closing and demand to be got on the flight. They get abusive and blame the airline why don't they leave plenty of time to get to the airport just incase of delays . At the end of the day they only have themselves to blame as i keep shouting at the tv telling them..

thats people for you. some folks never take responsibility for their own actions. Makes me mad too. I always try to understand. for example: if the delay etc is unavoidable: do you want a safe aircraft or one that has failed a saftety check? Some people

They expect to get somewhere after being rude as well manners are far more likely to get a result.

I agree, some people are just so irresponsible, and what about the idiots that leave their passports at home, don't they think to do last minute checks before leaving the house, oh and then they expect the airlines to wait for them.

i always check before i come out of the door then again as i get in the car!!!!! I still have the feeling i have forgotton something though

I watched an episode where a family were fuming as their daughter had left her passport somewhere in the airport, they were angry with the staff for not finding it! I was shouting at the tv "well don't give a passport to an 8 year old to look after!!" I also love it when people turn up 3 minutes before their flight and are then stunned that they are not allowed on!

That is so true, especially when I work on the customer service desk. If people are polite to me I will go out of my way to help them. If they are rude, they will just get the bare minimum.

Totally agree with you. We get people in our shop who choose the most expensive hand made card then they will pass a comment lke "I'm not used to extortianate (sp?) prices like these" and they expect you to agree with them, what do you say ?? I am very polite to all of my customers. But I must say that I find it annoys the rude ones even more if you are really really nice to them and don't get riled by their rudeness!

DH and I like to watch the airport progs too, we find our selves yelling at the dumb people with no passports, I honestly check ours are all there about 50 times before leaving the house!
