Since I am in serious Disney withdrawal - we are not going this year

I was browsing through my pics and forgot that this thread was not complete, so let's get the whip cracking!
Some more Food and Wine offerings.
We stopped at the Poland booth.
Frozen Szarlotka (Apple Pie) featuring Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka $8.25 - I don't remember this so it must have been just ok.
Temptation Zinfandel $2.50 - yep, two glasses.

My mother was thinking that this was white wine but drank both red sampling anyway.
Zapiekanki (Toasted Mushroom, Caramelized Onion and Cheese Bread with House-made Ketchup) - $3.00 - this tastes like pizza bread to me, love the mushrooms in this and the bread is fluffy. Very good but somewhat filling.
Then, we visited Hops and Barley where my mom opted for the
Griddled Lobster Tail with Garlic Herb Butter - $7.50 and i got the
Craisin® Bread Pudding with Grand Marnier Anglaise - $3.25
I'm pretty sure the wine was the Pinot Grigio from Italy. The lobster tail was nice, pretty well cooked, but tiny. My mom enjoyed it. The bread pudding was really good and moist, I love craisins so it was an easy choice. The portion was quite big.
Next up, Florida.
Florida Shrimp Ceviche with Fire Roasted Vegetables and Micro Cilantro - $4.25 and
Florida Orange Groves, Key Limen-Key Lime Wine - $2.75
The ceviche was fresh and cold, but tiny. The cilantro added a nice kick. The Key lime wine is interesting. It's refreshing. I would get some if it was available around here in the summer.
We stopped by the outside sake bar in the Japan pavilion. This is Hana Awaka, a sweet and sparkling sake, which again was refreshing and a great way to try out a "softer" sake.
and we also got a sake cocktail, the green tea colada one. It didn't taste like alcohol but had a great tang from the green tea and was not overly sweet. This is also available at the F&W Japan booth but the portion is smaller.
In Morrocco, we stopped by Tangierine Cafe for a side of olive salad. Salty and briny, this hit the spot. This is a must if you like olives.
We then hit the New Zeland booth. We got some white wine for my mom - don't remember which kind, and
Gratinated Green Lip Mussels with Garlic and Herbs - $3.50
These were really good! Nice and meaty, no grit and good garlic flavor with a slight crunch from the topping.
At Desert and Champagne, we got the desert trio and the Impérial champagne.
The bubbly was great and cold, the three deserts were the chocolate and orange cupcake, the chocolate and hazelnut cheesecake and the morello cherry and pistachio mousse. My favorite was the mousse, then the cupcake and last the cheesecake but honestly, these desert were not all that memorable.
At the Scotland booth, we got
Loch Lomond featuring Glenfiddich® 12 year $10.50
This was really potent! Not sure I was walking straight after this one, lol.
We also got
Vegetarian Haggis with Neeps and Tatties-Griddled Vegetable Cake with Rutabaga and Mashed Potatoes - $3.25
The haggis reminded me of a vegetable burger patty but it was still moist and had a nice flavor. I make mashed rutabaga at home and this version was ok as were the potatoes.
At the Hawaii booth, we got the
Kālua Pork Slider with Sweet and Sour Dole® Pineapple Chutney and Spicy Mayonnaise - $3.50
This was good, but we ditched the bread that was kind of dry and ate the pork with a fork.
And a bonus pic - the pumpkin cheesecake from the Mara. This was a nice treat, especially if you like autumn spices.
