You really can make whatever kind of trip you want from DW...a rushed one, a calm one, a 'kid' one, or a grownup one...we did a bunch of things on this trip we had never done before and STILL have not seen everything at DW!
Trying new resorts is really cool too...we loved the Poly, and my kids loved ASMo...there are still others I'd like to try: WL, AKL, POFQ, POR, GF (hey, may as well aim high lol!)...oh, and IMO, if you're going to spend a bunch of money at the Poly or AKL, or GF, might as well go concierge, b/c it truly pays for itself...
My sweater bags with one outfit for me, DS2 and DD7 packed in each, worked like a dream...it was a snap getting us ALL ready in the mornings...
You'll find magic where you least expect it...at the Castle, even though every little girl dreams of meeting the princesses, the Fairy Godmother was the most magical of them all!
After staying at ASMo for 3 nights, and seeing the huge Toy Story icons, my DS really noticed the difference when we left...we drove the first night and stayed at a Hampton Inn somewhere in GA...when he woke up, he looked out the window and said, "Gone? GONE?? Awww, man...," out of a 2 year old's mouth, that was pretty cute!
