As far as that "reparteē" mumbo jumbo, I will have to get back to you on that. I pressed 1 for english but that didn't help. Us Michigan folk don't "reparteē" that I am aware of.

We've looked into that dolly. Unfortunately, the cart platform isn't big enough for our Gem Car. There is another one available that's like a "mini-car carrier". You put your boat or cart on the top deck (hydraulic I believe) and pull your car underneath. WAY expensive, but WAY cool!! The only way I would tandem tow would be with a diesel MH. Not absolutely necessary, but I would feel safer towing all that weight with say a 300HP or higher diesel.

Well, if you're going to go with that much juice in your motorhome you might as well just use a full-size PU as a dinghy instead of springing for a really expensive dolly like the Tandem-Tow. My goal is to have a medium-sized motorhome (32-35 footer) a small/light dinghy (like a Prius or RAV [non-hybrid -- those things are HEAVY!] @2900#) and a cart (36V, even though gas is lighter @1000#), and the dolly (@800#). Total tow weight, about 4700# and I believe the mohos I'm most interested in are rated for 5000#. I think this is a reasonable way to do what I want without breaking into diesels (and a whole other world of prices!). To do a Tundra (@5200#) and a cart would require a much more substantial rig than I will likely ever afford.

If you do your shopping all proper like, diesels can be affordable. I found one. It just all depends on what your likes and dislikes are I guess.

My two current vehicles (Chevy-based moho and a Chrysler minivan) and all but one of my previous vehicles (Chevette, Monte Carlo, Audi, Jeep, Le Baron, and Cadillac) have been American-made, so don't try that patriotic finger-waggling with me! I have given American-made plenty of opportunity to impress, and the last two decades it has failed to do so. Spend your money where you want, but my next vehicle will almost certainly be from either Toyota or Honda. Now, if I were looking for a heavy-duty truck for a 5th wheel then I'd probably be looking for a GM product. But I'm not. I'm looking for a light, gas-efficient, non-disposable car... according to Consumer Reports, America doesn't know how to make them. Cest la vie.
