From March 3rd through 7th, my family and I stayed at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge Resort. On march 7th, our last day, as we walked the bike trail, we found out that my wife's mom had passed away earlier that morning from a blood clot to her lungs. Mom was 46.
My wife was barely standing as she spoke to her brother on the cell phone. A family had been passing the other way and heard and saw what happened. A very nice lady named Ellen, who was walking her 3 children and her niece, helped my wife, myself, and 2 small children back to WL. All I remember about Ellen was that she said she was a new DVC member, was with family, from the New Haven, CT area, and was staying in a studio room at the villas. I strongly wished to call the hotel on Friday or Saturday (she had mentioned she was leaving sunday March 10th) to send flowers to her for her kindness to my wife and I during this difficult time, but was unable to do much of anything upon returning home except help take care of all the details required in this situation.
If anyone knows who I am refering to, I would greatly appreciate the chance to thank her for her help and kindness on that day.
Thank You.
