Hi all - i'm usually on the DLP site, but would appreciate some help for a friend who is planning on visiting Florida in September this year.

They have been given a quote for Lexington Suites, as this is good room configuration for the numbers travelling, but have read some really bad reviews. Does anyone have any experience of this?

The other hotel they are considering is Coco Keys. Again, any experience?

One of the families is 2 adults and 3 young children, so a standard room that includes cot for infant is fine.

The other family is 2 adults and potentially 2, 17 year old boys, which is why they were looking at a suite - boys dont' want to share a double bed.

many thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Any idea what their quotes are for the 2 places to know what price range they are considering.

Hi, they have been quoted just over 6k for all of them including flights, 2 hire cars and accommodation. No park tickets included.

Many thanks

If its a package they will have to go with what tour op can offer.
Are they willing to do a DIY trip? or do they want to stick with package?

If you know dates? company? airline? childs ages? I can try price something up, see whats available.

Hi, thanks for this. I don't have all the details I'm afraid. They will be flying from Glasgow, I think first two weeks in September, 3 or 4 adults in one room/suite and a family of 2 adults and 3 children, 1yr, 5yr and 7yr old.

They were thinking about a villa option and booking flights separately, but had wondered on other peoples experiences on the accommodation mentioned, Coco Keys or Lexington Suites.

many thanks

£6k should be on top side, a little searching probably get better, flights for 6 Ad, 2 ch & 1 infant = £4,453.10(1st -15th Sept) but depends on hotel/villa & size of cars.

Don't think I have ever seen anyone on here post about either place, Lexington gets quite a few poor reviews in Tripadvisor, Coco gets better reveiws of the two.

A good site for hotels is Monarch.co.uk, they also give 5% cashback via Quidco, makes them very competative.

A quick search shows Extended Stay Deluxe either LBV or Idrive locations for £835.80 for 2 suites but loads more options on there with a budget of around £6k.

thanks very much for this. i'll pass it on.
