I was at Disney this weekend and went to the Wedding Pavilion to see how bad the construction was. As of now I don't think it's too bad, the walls aren't the usual ugly green plastic cloth/chain link, they are light blue wood with flowers and trees all around them. It looks like they extended the land into the water a little since the last time I went, it's a little close to the WP and has some posts that look like maybe there's going to be more fencing. So far there isn't any construction as far as the actual building, and no cranes or backhoes or any other equipment sitting out. I went inside to make sure I liked the new windows and loved them! You wouldnt be able to tell from the inside that there was construction except for if there was any noise. It doesn't look like Picture Point photos will have walls/construction in them, and it seems as though you can still get good photos on the bridge.
I still have 6 months until my wedding and I know a lot is going to change before then, but for now I was pretty ok with it. I'm going to keep visiting though, if it gets to be too much I want to change the venue in plenty of time so that my invitations say the correct location on them (so my keepsakes are correct). My fiance worked in new construction for almost a decade, and he thinks it's going to be perfectly fine, not sure if he's right or if he's just used to it lol. But he's right about one thing, it doesnt really matter if the guests walk by it, we just need to be able to still get gorgeous pictures.
