Some good gigs this week..

Cant believe a former heavy duty gig goer,I went to see Rush in September last year and then took the kids to Busted in December My first gigs in 8 years,
But this week Im going to see Motley Crue on Wednesday at Manchester MEN and 2 days later Styx at Manchester Apollo
Cant wait But Can I and my ears handle it??!!

I'm going to see the Beautiful South tonight at Bedgebury Pinetum in Kent - it's a forest. Really looking forward to it, used to see them live alot but haven't been for a few years.

Velvet Revolver in Belfast last Wednesday, Motley Crue in Glasgow tomorrow night and MeatLoaf/Status Quo in Belfast on Friday night!! Already had Velvet Revolver in Dublin in January, Thin Lizzy in Belfast in February and Green Day in Orlando in April so a good year so far wouldn't you say???

Just back from Download festival, so totally knackered. I have never appreciated a shower so much, the water actually turned orange from all the dust that had ingrained itself into my skin!! Yuk! Velvet Revolver were fantastic but most of the bands there weren't my thing at all, (I liked maybe 5 over the 3 days!!) Glad I didn't pay for it but it was pretty good really.

Motley Crue rocked on Friday at the NEC (and 10 minutes after the end of the concert we were settled with a drink in the bar of the Crowne Plaza ). My brother had a fantastic time with Styx at the Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday (2nd row, dead centre).

Oh, meant to mention that dh especially enjoyed Tommy's ti**y cam! Hooters; eat your heart out!

I'd say that was a major highlight of the Glasgow gig too!!
