We are leaving Houston next Thur, 11/29, for a 7 day land/sea (4 nights on the Wonder). It's me, DW, and 2 DS's (4 & 7). We board the ship on 8/1, our 12 anniversary. We are hoping to celebrate a little, but we understand that this is a trip for the boys so we are willing to make whatever adjustments so that they can be happy and enjoy this trip (DW and I have travelled a lot and have had a lot of fun together over the last 11 years.
I know some of the questions may be answered somewhere on the board, but I have done so much reading and searching that I may have overlooked them.
1) We will be staying at the Polynesian (not sure which room, we haven't gotten that info yet). Does anyone know if there is a standard DCL pickup time for the Polynesian when we get ready to head to the ship? I say one post that said that they were picked up at 12:30 and arrived around 1:30. Will this be enough time to try to get on the ship and book the Palo brunch? We want to do the Palo dinner one night to celebrate our anniversary, but since we don't know how the boys will take it we decided to try the brunch. I'm sure they will not have a problem going to the clubs.
2) What are the hours (open and close) for the Palo brunch on the Wonder?
3) Has anyone stayed in stateroom 7594? Based on the pictures that I saw it is really close to the laundry. Can anyone tell me if it gets really noisey when people are using the laundry (can I hear the noice from room 7594?).
4) Does anyone know the hours of operation for the laundry room?
5) My travel agent requested late seating and a table for 4. We we received the documents this week I noticed that we are confirmed for late seating, but there is no sign of us have a table for ONLY 4. Am I overlooking something? Should I call Disney and confirm this? It's not that we don't want to socialize with anyone. My DW and I have been on several cruises and we have injoyed eating with other and getting to know them. Since this is our anniversary and a trip for the boys, this time we just want to be together as a family. And besided, We never know when DS4 may not be in the mood for other
.
I'm sorry for all of the questions (I'm sure more will be coming). I did a lot of board reading back in Jan-Feb when we were booking the vacation. Now I am back for final feedback. This board has been REALLY helpful. I really appreaciate all of the feedback.
Thanks!
