Big apologies if these questions have been asked squillions of times before... I had a little search and couldn't see them, so here we go!

* When making a dining reservation, do I have to tell them I'm on the free dining plan? Does it make a difference to availability, etc?

* For dinners, the dining plan allows you to have one starter, one entree, and one dessert, is that correct? This confuses me slightly, because in Australia, an entree is a starter! We have entrees, main, and dessert.
So... is an 'entree' the same as a main meal at Disney?

Thanks in advance! :yay:

:)

When you call to make your ADRs, the CM will usually ask you if you'll be on the dining plan. If not, you can just mention it, but it doesn't make a difference to availability. They usually ask you, because some restaurants aren't on the plan, and they'll let you know if you choose one that isn't.

And yep, an 'entree' is the 'main' portion of the meal. The starter (appetizer) comes first, then the entree, then the dessert. Hope this helps ;)

Not sure if you need to tell them about the dining plan but I would just in case.

YOu are correct - in America an entree is your main meal. :)

When making PS reservations, they will ask you questions be able to see your package reservation.

You definitely want the restaurant knowing you're on the dining plan, so they can help you choose items that are included with the plan, and help you avoid being surprised about a surcharge or OOP expense that you didn't anticipate.
