First off thank you to all you DISigners for your wonderful work, without yall I would not have all of these wonderful shirts for me and my family. Second, I didn't transfer these designs using printer transfer, I've traced them and painted them myself so some of the colors have changed or the designs may have some lagniappe. So without further ado, some of the finished shirts!!!! (I've forgotten which design goes to what designer so if you see yours, you are thanked and just give me a shout and I will try to organize folders on the computer for future usage!)

OMG. They are beautiful! I gotta ask, did you use the red tracing pencil?
How long did all that painstaking detail take? Hand painting is so up my alley!
Did you use fabric paint or markers. Please share the detailing details:lovestruc

I started off with the red tracing pencil, and yes long painstaking hours getting these details in fact it took longer to trace it than actually painting! The 2nd design I had to trace like 4 different times. I done 2 shirts. the first time I traced I didn't think it was going to work and the design was TOOOOOO small, the 2nd time I traced the puppies found it and tore it to shreds!!!:headache: Finally I got to trace it and put it directly on both shirts. I have also found these wonderful crayons that you can iron on!!!! So I've been tracing with those:cool1: Both of these were done with the red tracing pencil!

But I use Tri-Chem liquid embroidery to paint! It's used just like a crayon/marker, actually more like a ball point pen. it actually has a ball point. It's fun stuff! :goodvibes

The Tri-chem...are those the one you order from Hershner's? I used them a lot years ago. They are hard to find!

Love that red pencil! Put I use regular printer paper for tracing! I got tired of ripping the thinner papers.
Nice work!

oh don't I know about that tracing paper!!!:scared1: :headache: it made me say some choice words(good thing I don't have kids running around right then)I print off the pictures mirror image and then trace them off.

I'm not sure if you can buy tri chem there or not....my mom is the only dealer in Louisiana so anything I need I tell Mom and she orders it for me and sends it down(she's in North LA and I'm near New Orleans,LA)It's great fun! And the painting is very therapeutic(sometimes, it gets tricky when the paint doesn't want to come out like it should or ALL the paint wants to come out ruined a few shirts like that)

I'm happy to know that someone else knows what I'm talking about, people ask me about my painted shirts around town and they have no idea and look at me as if I'm crazy. But I'm getting used to that now. :rolleyes1
Have a great day!!!
