What time are u plannin on getting to MNSSHP?? I'm shooting for 4pm . What's ur thoughts on hanging out? I'm game for whatever!!!

Hey Tink! I hope to be there by 8pm at the latest -- but I guess that will be up to the airline & DME gods My flight gets in at like 6:15 -- will head straight to DME. Once at ASSp, I'll check-in, drop off my bag and jump on a bus to MK. May even just dump my bag at bell services if there's a line at check-in. Not sure where the best place to meet might be since the 1st parade will probably run at 8:15.... Have to think about that one.

Hi! I am brand new to this wonderful site...friends aren't as into the magic as I am or have kids, commitments, no time, which is understandable. But me, I'm making the time and plan (hopefully) to go to Disney this Labor Day - could use some time off and happy faces, Disney Magic and ready to book but hate going solo (the lesser evil than sitting home NOT at Disney this Labor Day weekend). Again, so new to this so bear with me...do solo's really meet up for dinner here and there and maybe a walk around the World Showcase, whatever, etc.? Because that's just what I'm looking for. I'm a female, 40, super nice - lots of great friends but none that want to/can go to Disney World on Labor Day (curses!) and here I'm hell bent - so please tell me there are some nice folks out there that are going and meeting up and how it works. I'm such a fan!

Yes! Please come out and meet us! I will be there from Sept. 4 - 7 -- meeting up with some others for MNSSHP on Friday. No set plans yet for the rest of the weekend. Just let me know if you want to get together and we'll figure out where to meet up. I am also female, 36 and super nice, too And in pretty much the same boat as you -- no friends that want to go to Disney over Labor Day

Sunday, Sept. 6 - Epcot (am); MK (pm EMH)
Monday, Sept. 7 - AK (am); catch DME by 4pm

Disney, but Expedia has some prices that are significantly less so I may have to try that way for the first time. Such insightlful feedback on this board...horrified that I went so long not knowing about it (but thrilled I'm on board now).

I'm booked! Flight anyway...I'm from NJ as well and going Saturday to Tuesday of that weekend. SO excited...was on the fence and you nice posters made all the difference - I sure hope to meet up if possible. Now I need to decide where to stay...may mix it up a little bit...two nights one place, last night maybe something inexpensive since I'd have to leave early Tuesday anyway. Hmmmm. Anyway - this is great! Counting the minutes!

I am DOWN for Tonga Toast...I've seen it mentioned a few times on various threads so I'm overdue in trying it. Did you book yet by chance?

Yay!! Tonga Toast is soooo delicious According to the online ADR system, they only had 2 seatings available (Sunday at 10:05 am and Monday at 7:30 am) so I went ahead and booked them both. Let me know which works better for you and I'll cancel the other. Or I may keep it and have Tonga Toast twice

That would be great! Times available for 4 for Sunday are 7:30, 8:55, 9:10, 10:00, 10:30 and maybe more -- those are just the ones I checked.

I personally would prefer either 1)the earlier times just so that I can get to the parks by rope drop or 2) later time so I can get in a couple "must do's" at rope drop then head out to breakfast, but will be up for whatever. Let me know what you all prefer and I'll get us an ADR
