I know I actually like being alone. I have family and friends I love. I like spending some time with them and even enjoy vacationing with some of them. But I love my alone time.
I don't understand people who need people. I'm perfectly happy with myself and I don't feel the need for someone else to be with me all of the time. My Daughter moved out last year and now I've got an empty nest. I miss my Daughter but I LOVE having the house to myself.
One of my favorite things at WDW is to go back to my resort at the end of a long day and take a walk around the grounds of the resort at night. I find the nice dark and quiet paths and I enjoy the solitude. It's a perfect way to wind down and relax after the crowds of WDW.
I've seen threads here about meeting up with other solos for a day/meal/night out etc. and I've wondered why someone would do that. Why would I spend my precious alone time meeting up with others?
