I'm leaning towards grey...I like that color alot!!!! So I just have to go buy the stuff now LOL!!!!

Yep you can get them at Walmart. I am assuming Hobby Lobby as well. I think I would get the Avery brand one if you go to Walmart. And just be aware if you are doing gray you should get the dark color transfer paper, it's a bit more expensive but I think it will be worth it!

I was a bit worried about the gnome for a second... I'm glad he told you the Haunted Mansion is his favorite though. It would be horrible if he made you ride Cinderella's Carousel over and over again. As long as there will be no throwing off your groove, I see him as a perfectly acceptable travel companion.

I'd hate to see her running into half dozen people with her same "one of a kind" DISign

Yup its Nobwick and I believe it was Paula who gave me the idea so when I went to lunch at Panera next to the mall I decided why not stop in and see what they have LOL...I may have gone a bit overboard...but it was worth it LOL!!

Yes, Monday is a very special day for me and I think just might be my favorite day of them all for many different reasons including a very special meet with a very special lady LOL!!!!!!

Happy Wednesday!! Well it’s been a really good week so far, car is fixed and running and didn’t cost me the thousands I had envisioned. My doctor’s appointment came back with a clean bill of health as nothing was noticed abnormal. Even better, they were so busy they didn’t bother to weigh me on the scales…Merry Late Christmas to me LOL. I tend to make things a lot worse in my head than they really are, so I’m a happy camper. I have to tell you guys that we have the most amazing mechanics ever, they took my husband back to the car and showed him what was wrong with the car and explained all the options, extremely customer friendly. At the doctor’s office, the nurse practitioner was a bit stressed but also very friendly and answered all my questions so I appreciated her time. Last night was a great night also. We got invited to join my friend and her husband in celebration of her birthday. It was a great time of fellowship to just sit and enjoy good company and even better food. We are actually going to be doing a lot with them in the next couple of days…between NYE games at their house and then we are trading spouses and she is coming over to scrapbook with me on Thursday…guess that means I need to get my house cleaned. I get so motivated to clean when I know company is coming over LOL!!!! The night ended really nicely with a special chat with my Marcettes…you know who you are…and you guys are a blast LOL!!!!!!!

So guess what came in the mail yesterday…my Disney crocs. Shall I show them to you!!

Aren’t they pretty…I’m so excited to wear them at Disney. And yes I’ll be wearing them with socks, but don’t worry only with jeans and you won’t really be able to tell anyways. I saw the temps for when I’m going to be there and while you Northern loons think 60 degrees is swimming weather, I’m going to settle for a sweatshirt LOL!!! I wonder if I order a shirt online if I can get it here in time for my trip. I saw a really cute one on sale at the Disney Outlet online. Nope, I think I’m going to pass on it, so you enablers out there, and you know who you are…shhhhhh…no trying to convince me otherwise.

Well I just had my first moment of panic. I was posting on the Snowbirds thread (those of us going to Disney in January) and took a look at my ticker. Do you realize I’m only 14 days away…14 DAYS! Do you know what I have to do in the next 14 days? That is two weeks to get things laminated, finish up buying the stuff I want to take with me, making a packing list, figure out how my GPS works, get together a decent sub folder that will keep my students working for four whole days, and try not to freak out over what I might forget back home. WHEW, okay happy thought time. At this point in two weeks I’ll be driving into DTD to pick up my Annual Pass from Guest relations and trying to not buy out the World of Disney store and hoping by some magical wish coming my way that my room will be ready for me. So to be honest I’m going between moments of sheer panic and utter excitement. I have been told this is completely normal and it only gets worse as I get closer to leaving YAY!!!

Well shall we discuss the 5th day of my trip, Monday January 19th. This is almost a non-park day, this is my dream day shall we say. This whole trip is about me being able to explore Disney my way but this day really takes the cake for me. So let’s look at Monday…

7:00: Wake up…now this doesn’t make for much of a night’s sleep but I’m going to be okay with that.

7:45: Leave for Magic Kingdom (driving myself there)

8:10: Check in for my Keys to the Kingdom Tour (I’m so excited about this tour!! This is the one thing I knew I wanted to do and knew I would never get Prince Phillip to do. I can’t wait to learn about my favorite park, best part they take me to the Haunted Mansion. If I’m going to get to express my excessive love for that place it’s going to be during the tour LOL. Now, Paula you’ve been on this tour before…am I going to be able to bring my backpack with me?? I’ve heard yes and no’s so I thought I would ask you).

8:30-1:00: Keys to the Kingdom Tour (I believe it is 4 to 4 ½ hours).

1:00-1:30: Head to the Grand Floridian and just relax at the resort until my spa treatment. I think I’m going to take the Ferryboat over there so I can enjoy the relaxing ride.

2:15: Check in for my Aromatherapy Massage. I was planning on just getting a pedicure, but after a long discussion with Prince Phillip about being bummed that I couldn’t upgrade to a moderate, he said the money could be used in better ways and just to do another spa “thing”. Who am I to argue with that logic.

3:30: Spa Pedicure (My poor feet will be tired at this point and what better rejuvenation than a pedicure)

5:00: Dinner downstairs at 1900 Park Fare!! I’m dining with the stepsisters YAY!! I can’t wait, I’m excited to try the strawberry soup, but to be honest I’m going for the interaction with the characters. I even have a special princess outfit I’m going to wear that night after my spa day. It’s a very nice outfit and I’m excited to show off my toes in a very pretty new pair of fancy shoes. (To see said outfit you may travel back through the episodes to see pictures LOL)

7:00: A very special meet will take place in front of a Lego Dinosaur in DTD. I have had the privilege of meeting some exceptionally fine people on this board. I’m so honored to call many of these people friends who I will be associated way after this trip is done. This night I get to meet my dear friend Kim (Northern Disney Girl) and her family. Kim is one amazing lady and I can’t wait to give her a big hug. I also have a couple of surprises for her girls and her…but shhhh…can’t say much more about that I think she reads my PTR sometimes LOL!!

8:00-9:30: While I imagine that Kim and I could talk all night long, she will have a tired group (it is their first day at Disney) and she’ll have to get them to bed and I will also probably need to recharge my batteries. So between these times I’m hoping to make a stop at Goofy’s Candy Co. and World of Disney for some souvenir shopping.

10:30: Lights out and Sweet Disney dreams!!!!

I took the Keys to the Kingdom tour... we were allowed to bring our backpacks but we could NOT bring out a camera... those had to stay packed... actually they asked us not even to get out our cell phones.... no photos is the thing.... we did get in to the Haunted Mansion... it was amazing... we had lunch at the Columbia Harbour House... it was very nice... we ate in a private dining room upstairs.... we also go a cool name tag and pin... Maggie and I really enjoyed it.
