Solo WDW:Avoiding a Divorce when NDH Goes Hunting thru Bday and Anniversary Upd:1/14

I am so excited to see IllumiNations again! I haven't seen it in 11 years and it's one of my favorites.

You and me both Meghan...I love the idea of nightime shows and the only one I have seen is Fantasmic...I'm so ready to be there for Wishes and Illuminations!!!!

I really really really want to go to Yachtsman. I don't know if we are going to be able to fit it in this next trip. Boo.

Yes, you must try school bread, it is the most delicious treat EVER.

I would freak out of either of my cats brought me a mouse. Ick!

Well I will let you live vicariously through my meal at the Yachtsman!! I have to tell you though I'm mostly looking foward to Brown Derby and I have you to thank for it, you gave it such a great review..I'm dying to try it!!

School bread just sounds heavenly to me...I can't wait to get me some!!

Well at least I should be happy that they don't put it in my shoes...they save that for Prince Phillip, during the summer he has to check to make sure a lizard didn't end up there. It's so cute though they sit by the shoe looking so proud of themselves...like look daddy I killed for you aren't you happy LOL...silly cats!

Brown Derby is just delicious. Truly, it is. I can't wait to go back there.

School bread is very very yummy. We both loved it.

Silly cats indeed!

Awwww... Becca...if I only had one more personal day LOL...yeah I always thought it was a bit odd that they made you come back like 2 days before they gave you another day off...that never made much sense to me at all!!!

So are you enjoying your Christmas break...have you been making a lot of wedding plans...the day is coming so soon!! I'm so excited for you!!!

I think somebody told me that it's because they don't want MLK day to get thrown in with Christmas Break, because it would take the emphasis off it. I just know it's a few less days that I get to spend at Disney. However, Logan and I are planning a trip to St. Louis for that weekend. At least if we don't spend all of our money at Disney.

Christmas Break is awesome. I just get to sit around, and go shopping with Mommy. I've already gotten a couple cute new shirts that I'll have to switch into my Disney wardrobe. However, my Mommy won't let me have them yet. She insists on making me open them for Christmas.

Just found your TR in your siggie somewhere else. It will take me a while to get through it all- I've missed so much, but looking forward to savoring every morsel!!! Thanks for letting me be part of your fun!

I like this day! It didn't make me tired.

YAY for not making Julez tired LOL!!!! I love EPCOT so I know I will really enjoy this day!!!

Good Morning to you!! Only 3 more days until Christmas!!! I’m reporting live from my living room wearing my pajamas and watching one of my cats go ballistic over a catnip mouse…speaking of cat toys….

Yesterday after church I walked in and thought I smelt something funny, well I lit a candle and took out the trash and figured I had taken care of the offending odor. Well a couple of hours later I smelled it again and told Prince Phillip, because I had dealt with odor issue number 1 now it was his turn. He turns to me and asks what does it smell like? I just looked at him, what is it with guys and wanting to know what something smells like; I just shrugged my shoulders and said it smelled BAD. Apparently I wasn’t helpful enough so he left to figure it out on his own LOL! He would never cut it as a detective because the hunt for the gross smell lasted all of like 5 minutes before he was chasing our fat furball affectionately named Mush around the house, then he stopped. “Hun, found the smell!” “Apparently what I have been thinking was just one of the kitties cat toys, well not quite a toy.” I was grossed out, you mean to tell me a dead mouse is laying on my floor and my husband thought it was just one of their toys…EWWWW. Well he cleaned it up and then my bottle of bleach cleaner had a hay day with that floor. I’m hoping that the Hanta Virus isn’t floating around my house now LOL!! So apparently during the summer my kitties bring me lizards and during the winter they find the mice hiding in the garage…YAY. I properly thanked my kitties and reminded them next to leave said offending creature in the garage where it wouldn’t be confused with their play things. We’ll see how that goes…they don’t listen very well for some reason they think they are the boss in this house LOL!!

Okay switching from one mouse to THE MOUSE…let’s talk about my DAY 3 Itinerary.

Day 3: Saturday, January 17th EPCOT DAY

Wake Up: Probably around 7ish so I can get ready load up and make it to EPCOT for rope drop. I have a couple of dates with Soarin. No big breakfasts planned, probably just use a snack credit and get something to go and munch on. I have two big meals today so I don’t want to eat a lot in the morning.

9am: It’s off to Soarin’ I just love this ride. I’m going to get a Fastpass and then hop into standby and try to ride twice. Then just because I’m a zoology teacher and I can’t refuse a good aquarium I’m going to head over to the Living seas and see if I can find some good material for my classroom. After exploring some of the Innovation pavilions, it’s off to ride Spaceship Earth, the mild version of Mission Space, and the Single rider line of Test Track.

12:00: Lunch at Les Chefs de France

1 :00-5 :00 Explore World Showcase (I want to watch a couple of the movies, buy me some school bread, and ride the two rides in the pavillions there LOL)

5:30: Dinner at Yachtsmen Steakhouse

7:30: Head back to EPCOT, explore a bit! Grab a drink, find a spot and just people watch and relax a bit before Illuminations starts.

9:00: Illuminations (First time I will ever see this show YAY)

11:00: Bedtime!!!

First off- EW to the mouse story! :scared1:

Secondly- Your Epcot day sounds so great! Are you going to ride Mission Space (or whatever it is called)? It is too scary for me!:rolleyes1

you'll have to tell all about this bread when you get back. I LOVE breads. I eat way too much bread all the time.

And hoping you take pictures of illuminations as I have never seen it before. We only have gone to WDW once, on our honeymoon (I've been to Disneyland more times than I can count, since I grew up in Southern California), and we didn't take in any shows or parades or fireworks on our honeymoon. We were all about the rides on that trip.

Great update...:thumbsup2

Yes I'm going to ride Mission Space but the mild version, the real one scares me too LOL

I will give you a review of the schoolbread...it sounds so yummy!!

I'm trying to find a really good tripod to take with me in hopes of getting some good shots of Illuminations. I'm so jealous I would love to visit Disneyland sometime and ride the original Haunted Mansion!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Since you love science, and if you have time, you might want to check out The Land ride through the experimental gardens. I know a lot of people think this is a real snoozer, but I love science too, and really enjoyed it a lot- even my kids LOVED this attraction!

Merry Christmas!!
