So normally, DP and i go to WDW together, but due to her college schedule, this october is not possible for her. Not that i need her approval to travel to WDW alone, i asked, and we discussed it, and she said she is completely ok with it, as long as I am. Now, this wouldn't be a totally "solo" trip, as family friends are going the same week (staying at the Poly. Due to finances, I'd stay at POP), I'd probably do a meal or 2 with them (they have 2 boys ages 3 and 5, so probably character meals), and most likely do MNSSHP together, other than that, I'd probably hang out alone, doing what i want, when i want! While this seems a little scary, it also sounds exciting! I've been to WDW MANY times, and tour without a map at this point, but my fear is being lonely. Any suggestions/comments are welcomed! Thanks!

I won't worry about being lonely. You at least will have some friends to lean on. Maybe you could arrange to take the boys one night and have them stay with you overnight. This way their parents could have some alone adult time to dine with out their kids in tow. And you can show them all the fun things at the Pop order pizza for dinner. Catch a movie at the pool and have fun. That might ease your fear of being lonely if you have this event to look forward to.

If haveing them stay with you is not an option maybe you could look after them at the Poly while their parents dine out. Catch the MK fireworks from the Poly beach, ride the monorail, watch the movie by the pool. Take a bus to the AKL and look at the animals.

Thank you, i think i might just take the plunge and try my first "solo" trip! Its a little nerve wrecking but exciting too!

I booked my first solo trip a few weeks ago and will be going in April. I am nervous but I know it will be well worth it!!! I am so excited to get to do what I want to do, when I want to do it. I have so many things planned that I have never done before. Good luck planning, and have a lot of fun with it :)
