I decided after seeing some of you talking about solo trips, I'd try my own. I've always wanted to explore Epcot more than I have but when I have DD she doesn't seem to be too interested. I'm also thinking of doing the underground tour of MK. I booked the 24th-27th. Hopefully you don't have to book the tour too early.

That's awesome, Donnie! I can't wait to hear all about it, especially that MK tour! I'm sure WDW is amazing to share with Annie! I bet it will be entirely different, and hopefully rejuvinating, on your own. Enjoy!

I did a solo trip 1 year ago. It was great!!! Everyone was surprised that I would think I could have fun camping and visiting WDW all by myself. My family had gone to New York for a week, so I went to the Fort. I took my bike and rode all over the place. I went back into areas that are restricted, such as the Old Swamp Trail, and parts of the old FW RailRoad. I took my digital camera to the parks and just walked along taking my time. I saw many things that I had walked by dozens of time in haste and never seen. I ate different food, and when I wanted. I struck up more conversations with folks just sitting, or waiting in line. Enjoy and we will be waiting to hear all about it.

word on the street is that my family is taking donations to go to the fort solo from me....... you can donate at any Suntrust.

Stack,

I'm green with envy :thumbsup2

I would recommend a tour for a WDW veteran like yourself. If you're referring to the tour, "Keys to the Kingdom", I took it 5-6 years ago and found it worthwhile. Obviously the time in the Utilidors is the most interesting. (Hint: we used two different doors to the underworld, one in the giftshop between Peter Pan and that 3D show and the second at the Columbia House restaurant near the Haunted Mansion).

More recently I did the "Magic of Steam Trains" tour in May '06. Good for fans of the WDW Railroad like myself.

The Keys tour will take several hours but if you have the time and no pressing appointments, I'd say treat yourself and do it! ;)
