Solo trip - A brief stay at CSR with a stop at AKL (with pics!)

Janet, Thank you for your trip report. It was great, your pictures and reviews of everything is much appreciated. I have often wondered about CSR. Now you have made me aware that we would probably enjoy staying there.

So glad you got to see your little Allie. How big was it? When we were at SOG last we had an Alligator right outside our window in one of the golf course ponds/water hazards. Bet there were some surprised golfers at times. We stayed for several nights and saw him/her every morning and evening. It wasn't too big, just about 4 ft.

Thanks for reading the report!

Allie was just a little thing, only 3-4 feet long. It was good fun to see her because she was totally calm, surrounded by fish and other creatures that we all just calmly swimming around together.

This report is not as good as the one from our March trip - mainly because it was a short trip and I was there for work. Really, no one should have to work on a trip to Disney!

However, I did manage to capture some nice pictures for you to enjoy.

Another concern is the bus system. We are used to staying at the CBR where we like the food court AND the bus system. I appreciate your honest review.

Food court - when you sit down the waiter/ress brings you a card that you take to whichever station you want food from and they punch your card. You can go to how many stations you want. When you leave you take your card to checkout and pay. Tip is added, but we sometimes take the waiter an extra tip.
Bus system - the best! It is so much better than CBR, IMO. We were at stop 4 and never was the bus so full we couldn't get on. Also, one night we were going to eat at CR and it was rainy. We got on the bus to MK, but since it was raining, the bus driver dropped us off at CR first. How nice was that?
You will love CSR. It is lovely and the cast members are all helpful and very nice.

In just 19 days I'll be spending four nights at CSR and then five nights at BCV. I've always stayed at Pop, so I'm very excited. Thanks for sharing your pictures and thoughts on the resort. I'm so glad you finally got to see your alligator!

I loved CSR but want to stay on the Boardwalk for our next trip, so your combo sounds great.
