So, I've been planning this trip since February and its finally here (almost :) ). My roommate was supposed to go but at the last minute found out they can't. I refuse to let it ruin my vacation since it's my birthday trip. I'm doing as much as I can fit into those days. MK, Epcot, Food and Wine, HS, Universal and IOA, HHN25 and MNSSHP. WHEW!!! I'm tired thinking about it. The thought of solo and its perks is exciting but it's still a bummer being at an amusement park by yourself. Anyone else there at the same time? I would mind a ride buddy for a ride or two.

Any tips for a girl on her own? I'm looking at this as an adventure. I've traveled solo before but not to the happiest place on earth. I'm scared it's going to be less than stellar since I'm alone. Any pep talks you can give would be appreciated!

I am doing my 4th solo trip in January. Going solo is so much fun. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind if I had someone special with me when the fireworks are going off, etc... But, I don't right now but I don't let that bother me.

I try to do something different on each trip that I have never done before, which typically involves a new place to eat. I can do this because I don't have to worry about anyone else and if they will like it.

I could write endlessly on why solo is so much fun but I would bore you. Once you do this trip you will understand. Where are you staying?

I'm going on my third solo trip 9/29-10/3 specifically for F&W. I love going solo, I tend to not ride a lot of rides and spend most of my time just enjoying the parks and resorts. I've got 2 seminars booked every day I'm there so you might want to look into that, they are done at big tables and being solo is never a problem for those. It's a great place to go solo, cast members are always friendly and I've met a number of nice people in lines and have actually ended up riding the ride with them.

I'm also there 29 sept - 3 oct solo... first visit to DW after recovering from a bad breakup in my marriage... Taking our dream trip and making it my dream trip by visiting disney world and also going to Halloween party! Because it's my first time really want to immerse myself in the parks but happy to catch up for a meal with others

I'm doing my third solo trip Oct 20-27. I miss going with my sister, my lifelong Disney buddy, but she goes solo in May now and I in October and then we share our experiences. It's like going twice! There are many perks to enjoying WDW solo and you will discover them all. Just go and have a blast.
