Anyone going solo to MVMCP during the week of Dec 10 to 15th? Anyone gone solo to MVMCP and not liked it? Just wants some opinions. Thinking about giving it a try.

Although I've never gone to the MVMCP, solo or otherwise, I do know several people who've gone to it solo more than once. I'd think that if they hadn't liked it the first time, they wouldn't have gone again!

I went solo a few years ago, and had a great time! I had so much fun that I wished I'd bought a ticket for another night on the same trip. Make sure to go on a weeknight if you can. I hear the crowds are less than those on the weekends.

Hi, I went solo last year.
I met up with some folks there for MouseFEst for a few minutes here and there, but mostly I was there alone.

I'm a 'sharer' and prefer to share good times with friends and family, so I would RATHER go will other people. But given that I didn't have anyone with me who wanted to go, I would rather go solo than not go at all.

I think you'd enjoy yourself IF you're the type of person who is used to doing things by yourself. If not, you might feel a little lonely, especially at that Xmas time of year.

Suggestion: I'm pretty sure that there is (or will be) a list here on the DIs for little mini-meets in December at MVEMCP....see who is going the same night as you and contact them to see if they would like to meet up for a ride, a parade, a 'something'.

I have done just that Chas. I have two tickets for my upcoming solo trip, just for the heck of it. Will be there on a Tuesday (Nov. 28), and on a Friday (Dec. 1). Should be interesting. Guess I won't miss too much that way. :yay:

You will have a great time! The nice thing is that you can watch the parade one of the nights, and go on rides while everyone is seeing the fireworks. Then, on the second night, you can watch the fireworks, and do the rides while everyone is waiting for the parades. I did this last year when I went with my brother and sister and family. Worked out great! And make sure to go to the first show of Night Before Christmas with Mickey at the theater in Tomorrowland if that is showing this year. Looked like the shows just got more crowded as the night went on and more people arrived.

Wow, I'm going solo next week, but now I wish I was going at Christmas time again! Oh, well there is always next year!
