I don't know what to do! My DS9 can never go long without his Chapstick. Otherwise, he is acutally in pain! A 3 hour plane ride without it? No way! It may sound silly, but do you think if we had a note from his doctor it would be allowed? Aghhh!

I just thought the word was cool and a great scrabble word too.

Carol A, I just have to ask. What is your problem with TSA agents? Most of them are great.CarolA said:Doubt a note will do it. Remember your avg TSA agent is not going to use any common sense here. However, if you can get the MD to write a prescription and get the Pharmacist to attach it to the tube you are set!

Honestly to me, this seems rediculous and I'd almost rather just cancel my flight all together and drive. I'm really irritated by this. And no, I don't believe it's a question of being 'safe or sorry'.

CarolA said:I have watched enough TSA agents BERATE and abuse passengers. I have had one of them tell me that if he wanted to he could strip search me. I got to meet his boss (Why? becasue I had a cork screw in my luggage which is allowed. ) I posted my all time horror story yesterday but I don't find it acceptable to yell at an older woman in a wheelchair "you could walk if you wanted too"
Unfortunately, there are some great ones, However, they have a lot of folks who are rude and in positions they shouldn't be in. (And when I am standing right next to you it is not required that you YELL at the top of your lungs at me)
One of my coworkers got yelled at in Tulsa Monday. Agent was standing there screaming at him to take his laptop out of the case. One SMALL problem, the laptop had already come out of the case and gone thru machine.... When the guy couldn't "provide the laptop" the agent was furious.....
I also think it's a false sense of security. The whole beverage thing is an example. Beverages that you can buy at the gate area aren't safe??? Why? Could it be that the TSA didn't really screen all that stuff like they were suppose too?
