SOLD OUT? 12/29 4 night

We have a mini-family reunion on the 12/29 sailing. We have the # of rooms we need, but we were hoping to get at least one set of connecting rooms.

The cruise no longer comes up as an option on the website...does that mean they are sold out?

If they are, I know the chances of getting those connecting rooms are going to be slim...any advice on a strategy? It's my understanding that some rooms will open up about the time final payments are due...

I have a family of 5 -- the youngest will be 2, so the connecting room would just make things a little easier!

You should call DCL or your TA and have that request entered on your resie ASAP. They could have done this when you made your reservations for future reference.

i am a family of 4 and when i was going to book that cruise, i could not book unless i booked two rooms, i adult 1 child per room. they had cat 6 1 room with a veranda and 1 inside cabin acroos from the veranda.
try booking 2 rooms and see if it comes sold out.

And it's 5 months away, and it is a peak time, so I would be VERY surprised if it wasn't sold out months ago.

I don't understand why the two room thing would work unless somehow it messes up the system since the child is then paying an adult fare & isn't counted corectly in the kid numbers. It is possible for cruises to be sold out for children but adults can still book. They limit the number of children onboard to make sure there is enough room for all of them in the clubs. Hmmm...it could also be that there are no rooms that sleep four available which would explain why the two cabins will work. I also agree that it wouldn't be odd for that cruise to be sold out. When we were booked on the 12/17/05 cruise and checked the availability this past January there weren't many categories available.
