Okay so we are going in June 03. I got a rate of 120. for four people. I thought that it was going to be cheaper. Why isn't 89 like staying at the SOG? Am i paying for extra guests in my room? If so why can't I just say that there are two of us if all the rooms have two beds and a day bed? How would they know if there were more than two people?

I just made reservations for Jun also (11-21) and was charged $99 per night cause my son will be 18 when we arrive. They charge $10 per adult over 2 adults. I'm not sure why you were quoted $120 unless they included the tax (11%) or you requested a fridge ($10 per night).

Yes tax was included in the price. I still don' t know how they would be able to differentiate between two people and four in a room.

Here is the info from SOG

Room Rates

Room rates are determined at check-in by military grade and apply to both active and retired military personnel and Department of Defense civilians. Sponsors are required to provide verification of eligibility and pay grade. Upon check-in, a valid military ID or current LES is required.

Military Grade/Civilian Grade Standard
Room Rate Bay View Room Rate***
Categories
1. E-1 through E-5** $66.00 $76.00
2. E-6 through E-9, O-1 through O-3, WO-1 to CW-3, GS-1 through GS-10, NF-1 through NF-3, Widows, Medal of Honor Recipients and 100% Disabled Veterans $89.00 $99.00
3. O-4 through O-6, CW-4 and CW-5, GS-11 through GS-15, and NF-4 and NF-5 $95.00 $105.00
4. O-7 through O-10, Active Duty Foreign Military**, Retired DoD Civilians and NF-6 $99.00 $109.00

Please Note: All room rates are subject to change without notice. Add 11 percent Florida State Tax to all room rates. Above rates are based on two adults occupying a room. Add $10.00 per additional adult, 18 years or older.

$89+$10+10+tax would equal about $120.

As for the CR being able to differentiate b/t 2 and 4 adults--they wouldn't necessarily be able to. However, it seems to me then, that 2 of the adults in your party are not going to be able to get their resort IDs, as it would be obvious upon check-in that everyone in your party is an adult. Also, from what I understand, it's pretty important to have a resort ID. Besides being able to put your admission media and room charging privileges on them, the CMs could conceivably ask to see ID before allowing you to use the pool (a long shot, but still a possibilty). So I guess it would have to be your call...
