We are wanting to start a school paper for DD midle school. We need some advise on what kind of computer program to purchase. We want something simple for the kids to use, we do have several students that seem to be computer wiz's, we will have some color and we are going to have ads and coupons plus school pictures. Anybody have any experience with this? Any suggestions on what program to purchase?

MS Publisher is really easy to use and has pretty much the same set up and functionality as the other MS programs. If you are used to Word and Excel, it would be really easy to pick up.

I don't know if you're a Mac or a pc. If you are a Mac, the pages word processing program has several templates to choose from for newsletters. My kids learn on the apple in elementary school and they already know more than I do about pages.
