I am seriously looking at Creative Memories, although I want the Mac version, which won't come out until Fall.

I have heard that Stampin' Up already has a Mac version but I have NO idea how to compare them.

Has anyone seen both and have some insight as to why you like one over the other?

Thanks,

Dawn

I haven't seen the CTMH version but do use CM SB+ 3.0 and love it. Can you download a trial version of CTMH as you can with CM SB, and so a comparison?

can't download the free CM files on a Mac.

I can't find any freebie CTMH ones.

We'll just have to wait.........:sad1:

I do have a PC and have played with it a little. So it is worth waiting for then?

Meanwhile I do have quite a few traditional ones to work on!

When you are working with Storybook remember with the 3.0 feature you can move the paper and embellishments around whereas in the free version it is stationary.

Yes, my consultant did tell me that. She also said I can't get print outs printed other than in an actual book, is this the case?

I dont' really care for the bound books and plan to print out finished pages in duplicate to make multiple scrapbooks with them (for kids, etc...)

Yes, Stampin' Up! already has both versions available and it's called My Digital Studio.

I have MDS and it costs quite a bit less than the Creative Memories Software. A freind of mine has the CM one and she said it also has a photo organization tool of sometype so I think that's the reason for the price difference. The SU one doesn't have that.

That's about all I know on the differences. OH and you can have individual pages printed for $2 per 12x12 as well as books. And if you like hybrid scrapping, like making the page, having it printed and then adding ribbon or something to it the printing is guaranteed to match Stampin' Up! products. That's a nice feature too.

CTMH is online, I believe, I was playing with it last week. It's pretty straightforward. I own MDS, play with it now and again, I did use it to make my Christmas card last year.
