sofia the first dresses available?

Has anyone been lately and seen Sofia the first dresses in the park? I need a size 7/8 for my daughter and the Disney stores here don't seem to get them and they aren't available online.

Any idea how much they sell for if they are there? We leave in 2 weeks and would love one for the parks and Halloween.

I don't think they are in Disney yet. I would get one from eBay- just make sure it was purchased from the disney store.

My daughter just bought one for my granddaughter at Walmart. They had a bunch of different sizes. I think it was around $15.

I just went to Target and Walmart the other day to find a Sofia dress in size 7/8 and both stores only had it in size small, which is 4-6x. The employees were unsure if they only come in that size or if they come in bigger sizes and had ran out of them. I have a feeling the ones available at Walmart/Target are only in size 4-6x for some reason because it was a little odd to me that both stores only had that one size. It wasn't like there were only one or two dresses left either, they had a full rack of them. I hope you have better luck than I do!

I bought a size 7/8 back in July for my daughter from the Disney Store. They have been selling out very quickly as soon as they come in and I was stalking the online store for several weeks until it became available. Good Luck!

I did see some sofia dresses as Sam's Club last week. I did not check the sizes but you could always give them a call.

I just called last week and was told there are no Sofia dresses anywhere in the parks. I've had trouble finding size 7/8 as well and we don't have any Disney stores nearby. We went out of town last weekend and I managed to find one at a Disney Store in Illinois. If you have a store near you, I'd call and see if they can check inventory for the dress at other stores and maybe they'd be willing to ship it for you.

I know when I was looking. The CM at the store told me to call on days where they receive their weekly shipments. They never know what's coming in until it arrives. I have two stores in my area and they had different shipping days. They did say that they would hold the dress for 24hrs for me but I ended up finding one online.

Thanks everyone. I called around to the 2 stores locally and was told I could try back on Tues and Thurs when they get shipments but the 5/6 and 7/8 sell fast. I ended up calling the store in Chicago (the one on Michigan Ave, not State street) because we have family there and I thought I could get them to pick one up for me if they had it. They will ship from the store for $10 so I just had them ship it directly from the store. We are leaving in 2 weeks so it should get her in time and she wants to be Sofia for Halloween so bonus!

FYI the Michigan Ave. store had several size 7/8 in stock when I called today if anyone else is looking.

Hey there,

Just checked the Disney Store online and they have all sizes currently available. I know the larger sizes tend to sell out super fast, but if you can get to it, buy it now.

I got the 7/8 for my DD and it's adorable. The only thing that was odd was that the pettiskirt was neon yellow...after watching the cartoon a few times I realized it was supposed to be that color - LOL.

The ones I've seen at Walmart are smaller sizes not the size 5/6 or 7/8 we are looking for.

Of course they are available online now. Oh well. We leave in 10 days and that might have cut it close for delivery anyway. Or at least I'll tell myself that to help justify the higher price I just paid

Sofia dresses are now available at World of Disney. They came in on 11/21. Very detailed and pretty.
