We're into the single digits for our trip with extended family and can't wait!!!! My one concern is that we will be utilizing the sofa beds. If you don't sleep well you don't play well :)

Would love to hear your thoughts on the comfort of the ones at BWV. Will housekeeping provide a foam pad if needed? I've also considered just buying a couple at Target when we're there but what would I do with it when we fly home?

My friend slept on the one in our 1 bedroom and thought it was fine. We were coming from VB where she had her own bed, but had no complaints about the queen sofa bed in the living room. She even put it away each day, I didn't care if she made it up, but it didn't seem hard to her.

I spent two nights earlier this month on the sofa bed in a BWV studio -- I think I actually preferred it to the actual bed! I thought the sofa bed mattress was similar to my memory foam topper.

We stayed in a studio over the summer, and both the queen size bed and sofa bed we're both very very comfortable and you were able to fold up the sofa bed with the blankets still attached, easy in easy out!

I'm often the "third wheel" when my parents travel to BWV and always get the sofa bed. Ive spent many a night on them and even after a half marathon don't have any complaints about the mattress. If you were going to take anything extra I would make it a blanket to use for naps or extra weight if the others in the room like it a little chilly.

DH snores and I like sleeping on the sofabed in the living room and looking at Spaceship Earth as I fall asleep. The mattress on the sofabed is comfortable. My only issue is that the cushion attached underneath sticks out the side so it makes getting up from the opened sofabed a bit clumsy. Not complaining. Just saying.

BCV, BWV and VWL have more comfortable sleeper sofas. Not just the three part foam pad on a platform like SSR, OKW, BLT. Not sure about AKV.

Thanks everyone - it sounds like the pull outs are more comfortable than the one we have at home. We always add a topper. I feel better knowing our guests will sleep well :-)

(Jean - I know about snoring and will consider that option on future trips but for this trip ear plugs will have to do!)

I should also have mentioned that egg-crate type foam toppers are sometimes available to use from housekeeping, if you decide you need one.
