Wondering what everyone's thoughts are of the sofa beds that are in the studio and 1 bed at ssr and kadani? Was thinking of getting an aero bed so kids don't have to sleep on the sofa bed. If I go with an aerobed, any idea if the queen aerobed will fit in an Owner's Locker?

Two teenaged girls 10 and 18 sleep on the sofa and do not mind it at all

I was wondering about that myself, and as another person mentioned, I may get my points at OKW instead, as the studio comes with 2 queen size beds. I 'm a widowed dad with a 9 yr old son and twin 5 yr old girls, and the last thing I want is to invest in DVC and none of he kids want to sleep on the couch.

Has anyone compared the studios at OKW and SSR? What are the pluses and minuses of each?

(I'm slowly getting my akronyms down)

All OKW studios have 2 queen size beds. iirc this is only DVC resort at WDW that offers 2 queen beds in ALL studio villas. We own at OKW and if you're thinking of putting air mattress on floor studios here may give you a bit more room to do so vs studios at other DVCs; 1 bedroom villas at OKW you will absolutely have no trouble at all having enough room for air mattress on floor.

Our kids have never complained about pull-out beds at BWV or VWL when we've stayed there ( or offsite at HHI and VB ) - - our trip last summer all 3 slept on pull-out at one time or another during trip (ages 21, 18 & 12). DBro & his family own at SSR and DNephews 6 & 9yrs have not complained about pull-outs there.

jmho, with 3 kids studio villas get crowded/not enough privacy real fast (especially as kids get older) - I'd think about 1 bedroom villa's especially at AKV and BLT which will also feature additiional pull-out chair in living room that will sleep additional person and an additional full bathroom in living room, and all 1 bedroom villas no matter what DVC resort offer convenience of full kitchen and washer&dryer in unit (I know, who wants to do laundry on vacation but believe me this is a God-send !)

My 2 teen boys sleep on the sofa bed at SSR and are quite comfortable. It's not like the sofa beds of years gone by with the saggy mattress and that awful bar across your back. It's much better.

my 2 boys 18 and 11 always share the sofa
after a day in the parks or pool think they would sleep anywhere (even at the bus stop)

Those new pull-out sofas are really comfy according to my kids. I have a boy and a girl, so we do bring an aerobed and they take turns, one on the bed and one on the mattress. (one bedroom unit)

Thanks for all the insightful replies. This will save me some bucks and the hassle of dragging an inflatable bed along. My biggest worry was they felt like the old pull out couches of yesterday...
