Sofa bed differences

so I was wondering why Disney places different kinds of sofa bed styles in their DVC villas as the only comfortable ones in all the villas we have tried are at animal kingdom villas and bay lake tower as the others have the springs that can be felt under the bed portion my daughter claims the springs and sofa beds in all other villas are terrible Is this so or in her head?

Different build dates. The new sofas with the foam mattress were not available when the older units were built.

BWV has has comfortable sofa beds for many, many years. The newest ones there are the best yet.

I think the Beach Club villas should have the new ones too. At least I hope so since I'll be sleeping on one next Feb/March!

We were there about 3 years ago and it was awful! Nice to know that they've changed them.

I should have stated that the only sofa beds I have slept on at BWV are the queen size ones in the 1 bedrooms. I would think that the full size ones in the studios are the same type but I haven't actually tried them.

I assumed all the studios had the sofa beds ... and then I realized i was wrong! I can't believe all this time I had no clue about okw and dismissed it. Not anymore! I have plans to check it out this next trip, for sure.

What drives me crazy is that, even moving from 1br to 1br in different resorts, the sofa beds aren't all the same size! I'm first at OKW on a double, then BWV on a queen. This is annoying, as I always bring a fitted sheet with me to use in lieu of the standard flat the resorts use that are continuously coming untucked...guess I'll have to bring a queen and it'll be a bit big on the double...

I have always had a queen sleeper in the living room area, even the link you sent shows a queen. We have been member at OKW since 1993 and have 50 plus trip. Unless they have changed them since Nov it should still be a queen. The only doubles in OKW are in the 3rd BR in a grand villa.
