Does anyone make homemade syrups for their SodaStream? We've realized that we don't like most of the regular or diet flavors. I don't like that they put artificial sweetner in the regular ones. We like the Sparkling Naturals, but they're more expensive and you have to use more.

I think we're going to try making ginger ale syrup. My mom grows ginger, so that ingredient will be free. :thumbsup2

We made a homemade LimeAde a few days ago by adding our own lime juice, but we didn't grow the limes. ;)

Just found this on pintrest, Drinks and Home-made Syrups (SodaStream, etc) looks so good I gave my wife the link. :rotfl:

I need sugar-free drinks, but I am sick of diet soda. I got a SodaStream, but I am really disappointed in their flavored water products. I read about the "True" brand packets that just contained crystallized fruit. I read reviews from others who liked them for the flavored water option on their SodaStream. So I ordered them from Amazon. I ordered a bulk purchase of True Lemon, True Lime, True Orange and True Grapefruit packets. Got Free Super Saver Shipping. These don't have any artificial flavoring or sweetener. It's just like having a slice of these citrus fruits in your water. It works terrific with the SodaStream. I add 2 packets per liter. You could carry them in your purse, for bottled water on the go. You could use them in the kitchen to sprinkle lemon on your fish, vegetables, etc.

I personally recommend this product. Here's a link to different flavors they offer. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias=grocery&field-keywords=true+lemon

I buy True Lemon from my local supermarket for using in plain ice water. I tried it in carbonated water, but it wasn't for me. I don't drink carbonated beverages often, but when I do I like them sweetened with sugar.

I was so excited to find a sprinkle bottle of True Lemon. I got tired of all the packets.

Thanks for the info on True Lemon. I used to love that stuff and no one carries it around here any longer. I never thought to look on Amazon! duh!
