Can you take bottled sodas into the Universal parks? I see water bottles referenced over and over again, but I am unclear on sodas. Also, they say you can take snacks. Do sandwiches in sandwich bags count ok as a snack? Trying not to spend a fortune on food.

Yes, you can for sure take bottles of soda in, or cans. Open cans just fit upright in the free lockers. Security will probably take a peek at cans, to make sure they're not booze. I have always gone through security with the soda unopened, so there's no chance they think it could be spiked.

You can pretty much bring in any "individual" sizes of food (ie, a sandwich is fine but probably not a 12pc bucket of chicken).

Thanks for the clarification!
