I read on this board that you can now get free soda on board. Is this only at the drink station on deck 9? What kinds are available? Thanks! :)

Hi!

The only drink stations that I am aware of are on deck 9 beside the mickey pool outside of Topsiders. They carry coke products - sprite, coke; diet coke; orange drink etc. It is open 24/7.

:goodvibes For your info,

You can also get milk, drinking choc, coffee & Tea there too as well as the pop! (sorry soda )
:goodvibes

And it's free? Last time we had to buy a mug. (Yes, it's been almost 2 years, but now we only have 25 days to go!) :cheer2:

They stopped the mug program last summer. You still will be charged for a soda in the bars & with room service, but in the dining rooms & on deck 9 it is free. :)

Yes FREE!!!!!! Imagine that. :rotfl2: I know its hard to believe. You no longer need to buy the package and get the mug. You simply go up and help yourself. You can still obtain sodas from the bars BUT then you will be charged. Also at meals of course they are free. I am not sure they are FREE ---------I think we probably pay for them one way or another if you get my drift. Considering the cruise prices they should be free.

Does the soda station have ice, and can we use our own mugs?

Yes they do. Here's what we do which really helps when we go into town or on excursions. We bring wide-mouth sports bottles. We fill them with the crushed ice and then top off with water (the water at the drink station is all filtered and tastes great). Now we have nice cool water to last the day.

Just one more question - DD would like to know - any there any diet soft drinks available? Thanks! :)

There is also Diet Sprite, but it is only on one station, right next to the door to enter Topsiders.

Here is a pic of one of the soda machines on Deck 9...there are about 3 or 4 grouped together in the area all with ice machines.

You can buy souvenir mugs for $3.00, if you want, but don't need them to take advantage of the complimentary soda. If you don't want to bring your own cups, there are cups, straws, lids available at the stations.

Sort of off topic, but if you order a meal or snack from room service do you have to pay for the pop, juice or milk that you order with it? Thanks!!

Not really off topic. :) Yes, you do pay for soda with room service. IDK about juice & milk though.

We have never had to pay for juice, coffee, tea, milk from room service but you do for soda.
