Socks for a size 14 men's foot that don't break the bank?

My husband just wears socks from Target or wherever, but I do think they wear out faster. Jeans used to take me forever to find, but I LOVE oldnavy.com. :)

I wear target ones. My feet are even bigger...

Shoes are a diffent story.... www.zappos.com awesome (Free shipping both ways and 365 day return policy) or oddballshoes.com (you pay shipping both ways and very few days to return)

I'm wearing some Hane's ankle cuts, they have the dark grey toe and heel, from Kohl's. Seems most guys like me with larger or a lot larger than normal size feet wear the same thing, as I've been at several functions where it's shoes-off, and a lot of us guys are all wearing the same socks. Dress socks from Kohl's are okay, too. Forget about finding shoes in the right size there, though.

DS23 buys those same socks.

As for the shoes, whenever I find any on a sale for a decent price, I buy them. It's so hard to find size 14 shoes at a price that won't bankrupt a person.

I just bought some crew-style socks for 13-16 at Casual Male for $10 for three pair. They ae available in both black and white.

My DS15 wears a 14 wide and I just buy the big & tall Hanes socks at Walmart. He has a sock monster living somewhere in his room that steals 1 of every pair so I have to go with the cheap ones :thumbsup2

My son is a sock size 13. I found regular white socks at Target, Walmart and Vanity Fair outlet. For dress socks, I purchased them at Kohls.

DS wears a size 15 and his socks are from Walmart, Hanes brand I believe. I have to buy his shoes online, because most stores do not carry above size 13. I have found great deals at JCPenny and Sears. Used to do Kohls.com, but even online they only go up to size 14.

For shoes, my husband actually finds good work shoes (business casual) at Payless! He was surprised to find them there, but the 14 section is actually pretty well stocked and they wear well, for a great price. Sneakers, though, he relies on the Nike outlet.

Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack carry large size shoes. Maybe not budget, but good quality. My husband wears a 14 shoe. I purchase dress socks for him at the Rack and usually find his white athletic socks at Target or Walmart.

I have size 16 and use to shop nordstroms. You gotta show him zappos.com as well...

DH is a 15w and ds16yo is a 13 and still growing-I usually get all their socks @ walmart-shoes are a whole different ballgame-for dh i usually shop www.Kingsizedirect.com-the shoes are well made, lots of styles, fast ship times and always discount codes-just last nite i ordered a pair of New Balance cross trainers size 15ew for $38 after discounts:cool1:
they also have a great selection of big/tall clothes also:woohoo:
Trish

Hardest thing for me about having Bigfoot as a son is that even when I find a size 15, they are usually a wide. DS's feet are normal width, just long.

New Balance for both son and husband, son is a 14EEEE and husband is a 16EE.
As for socks J C Penney gold toe, they seem to last.

My teens both like the Under Armour socks (in black) They like the way they fit because they are "clingier?" than regular socks, plus they seem to help with the moisture/odor issues. I get them at Dick's or Cabela's and once in awhile they'll be on sale.
