socal Disneyland Tickets

I live in Arizona and my Aunt who lives in souther california just purchased my family the SoCal Disneyland Two Day Park Hopper Tickets and got the e-ticket.

We are going May 1st and my aunt is not coming with us until the second day.

At the gates will they require me to show ID to see if I am a california resident. I just saw on the tickets that its required. Or was it shown proof when the tickets were purchased under the credit card of a California resident? I am just nervous at showing up at the gate they will make a big deal.

Any socal residents purchase these tickets before and asked for ID at the gate?

I've never had them ask for an ID at the gate. Just when buying the ticket. But i am not sure with the e-tickets at the gate becuase I know they have to switch your paper ticket for a normal one.
