socal annual pass question

does anybody no if i can buy a socal annual pass on a blockout day? or do i also have to pay for a blockout ticket? tia~!

I don't know the answer, but I would think you could still buy one on a blackout day even if you couldn't use it that day without upgrading. You can buy a pass online at anytime too.

From multiple threads on multiple websites with general and very specific questions...I do believe about 99% that you can buy ANY AP on a blockout day, and use it that day.

Really?! And not pay the upgrade fee? That would be AWESOME!!!

What they tend to have you do is buy a Straight Ticket/Hopper for the day, then upgrade at the end. I believe that is what we did but I could be wrong it has been a few years.

But no matter if they let you buy the straight pass or upgrade you should not have to buy a blackout day.
