Soarin'

As this seems to be a fairly typical observation I wonder if the UG folks have taken a look at this. Their guidance still calls for picking up the Soarin' FP after Test Track and Mission Space....I'm getting kinda nervous that might shut me out of Soarin' in a reasonable time horizon.

Hi!

We were there last week. The first time we went on Soarin' was on Saturday the 12th. This was during the Food & Wine Festival. We followed the UG's tour for 'tween boys and it also suggested Test Track & Mission Space first. WE got there about 15 minutes before park opening. We did Test Track (walked on) and my husband and kids did Mission Space (I chickened out)and they walked on. While they were doing that..I walked over and got fast passes for Soarin'. The Fast Pass lines are down by the ride..and it was a mob scene! Everyone was crammed into the small fast pass area..no recognizable lines. But I got the fast passes...they were good for about 2 hours later.

When we went back to go on the ride ...this was before Noon. There were no more fast passes and the standby line said 80 minutes.

It was Sooooooooo good! I loved it.

We went on it again this past Friday. Got fast passes again. This time it was in the afternoon probably about 2pmish and fast passes were still available..there were no lines for the fast passes. The standby wait was 60 minutes.

I don't know when you are going..but if it's a busier time...I would shoot over and get fast passes first..and than do Test Track and Mission Space. If it's a slower time...do Test track and Mission Space and than hit Soarin for the fast passes.

Have fun and enjoy this great ride :goodvibes

Just back from a week at the end of October. Definitely get your Soarin' FP first thing. I went to Epcot one day, and at the rope drop, walked as fast as I could to Soarin'. It was already a 40-minute wait in the stand-by line, and the Fast Pass return window was about 11:00 to 12:00 ---- and that was at 9:05 a.m.! After having experienced Soarin' over California many times at California Adventure, I couldn't believe the lines for the new Soarin' at WDW! I guess it's so popular because it's still new.

FYI, the standby line at Mission Space was rarely more than 15 minutes when I was there at the end of October, and we always hopped into the single-rider line at Test Track with hardly any wait (a great option even if you have a group, since you're often loading onto the ride at the same time, just not in the same car.).

Absolutely get to the park and get FP immediately.

We did not. went Nov 7 - 11 and could never get on.

200 minute wait. FP all gone by 12:00 pm

maybe lines will die down in early December but for you holiday people,

please take heed
Soaring only had one side running for about a week due to a problem with the film. Thats been fixed and lines should be limited to 120 minute waits in the future.

We were there in October and the lines were fairly short as well. I think it was a 20 minute wait for Soarin without Fast Passes. It was a really nice day to get on all the rides we liked.
