I read that it opens this month or could I be mistaken? Anybody experience this attraction yet? I heard it's going to be big.

It's open now, and from what I've heard, it's incredible. I'm really looking forward to seeing this one. :)

I rode it last week - this is a must see!!!!!

It was Julia's first BIG girl ride and she LOVED it!!!

This ride is amazing. The wait time was up to 70 minutes but well worth the wait or the fastpass.

we rode it last week and we walked on with no line at about 10:30. it was ok but overhyped. its relaxing and diverting but didnt leave us wanting to do it again. if you arent in row 1, the dangling feet of the riders above you can ruin the illusion. the constant scene changing also takes away the feeling of complete immersion. the film should be unbroken with no scene changes. even if this was unpractical to film, they should have used cgi.

It's a great ride. We rode it a week ago and my wife and daughter (4) loved it as well. We were at EPCOT at rope drop, so we got to ride it as soon as it opened in the morning. Afternoon, the wait times were listed at 120 mins. or so.

We rode it twice last week and loved it. I will agree, first row is best, because the second time we had third row, and the feet above were kid of annoying.

Definately well worth it. Don't be scared by the times. We walked right on a few times. We went one time b/c my kids really wanted to do it again and the sign said 30 minute wait but we walked right on; we learned the times aren't always accurate!

I was able to ride it 3 times the weekend of 4/29-4/30. I was also able to get a turn in each row (1, 2&3). The feet hanging above you can be seen but if you look straight at the screen and downward towards the scenery you will not be bothered by them. They do have a single riders line if the standby time looks to long. This is a great ride that not only give you the sense of flying through the air but also gives you a sense of smell during certain spots.

i smelt the orange groves but didnt smell anything else. what other smells were used?

Sunday and Monday! :Pinkbounc Try and get in lane 1 that is the one that is the highest, but I rode #3 twice, and it was great too! You smell the Ocean, Oranges, and the Pine trees in the snow skiing part! :goodvibes

Pine scent for the mountain and river rafting scenes. They also used some sort of scent for the beach scene but I couldn't tell what it was.

Soarin' ride count: 8

70min waits? What! I currently have Soarin' as a last attraction at Future World before I run around the Showcase.

EPCOT:
1. Future World EAST
-Spaceship Earth 15min
-Mission Space 5min (FP)
-Test Track 3min Intro/5min Ride (FP)
2. Future World WEST
-Ice Cool Station: ice cave w/ soda sampling
3. THE LAND
-Soarin' 5min (FP)
*Go for row #1 for the smells

Should I move it up to #1?

Yes you should move it up to #1. Save Spaceship Earth for later in the day. Everyone seems to hit it when the park opens.

At least go get a fast pass for Soarin. Some have reported 120 min. waits.

I thought the ride was breathtaking!! We did it twice, but I wish I had been able to do it one more time before we left. We were there late afternoon, and there was only a 30 minute wait. It is definitely a must-see!

We went to DL & Soarin' was our favorite attraction in CA. I'm thrilled that it has come to WDW & can't wait to ride it again & again!

I was there a week ago today :sad2:
Rode Soarin' three times. In the third row twice, which was not as good as the second. You can see the black areas bordering the screen. Disappointing.I feel bad for the people who rode Soarin' in the third row for the first time like my BIL! Oh well.
I thought it was cool. Takes away from the lines @ Mission Space and Test Track. No wait on Sunday May 8 for Mission Space @ 12 PM. :cool1:

My DD & I absolutely LOVED this ride in DL the two trips we've taken out there we rode at least twice every day. We were able to that thanks to single rider line, is it true that they don't have a Single rider line in Epcot? :sad2: That's a huge bummer becuase I know at DCA FPs always run out pretty early.

Oh, my, it was amazing. When you go on it, try to get on row one when you are in line. You will find out why in good time. *Smiles*

:earseek: It was SO AMAZING!!!
