Does anyone know if Soarin is a permanent attraction? I'm going with my DD and DGD in October and would love to let them experience it. What a great ride!!

I'm pretty sure it's not going anywhere in the near future :thumbsup2 . As far as I know, it is permanent. It was just "introduced" for the 50th anniversary of Disney theme parks.

Thanks. I was hoping it wasn't a temporary thing just for the 50th celebration.

I don't think you have to worry about Soarin' being temporary as Disney has put a lot of money into this ride. That ride was the highlight of our trip last month. We rode it twice! Absolutely amazing isn't it? :thumbsup2 :sunny:

Well that's a relief. My grandaughter will be 5 by the time we go. I checked the height requirements and that parts okay. I was telling them about it and how great the ride was. At one point I thought my sandal was going to fall into the water, it was that real!! :rotfl2:

My daughter was 3 the first time she rode it, so your granddaughter should be tall enough.

The rumour is that they are working on a Soarin Over The World show (that will replace the existing one). I'm guessing thats perhaps why the WDW one is called just Soarin whereas the DL one is called Soarin Over California.

Wow that would be even better! :thumbsup2
