I got up the nerve to do Soarin' today. I asked the cm at the single rider line what the wait time was, he said he wasn't sure since it was the first day they were using it! The standby was 60 min, so I thought I would give it a try. I walked all the way up through the line and was #3 when I got to the front! Got right on! I'm not crazy about simulator rides (like Mission Space) and I don't like rides where your legs dangle (like the parachutes at the local park) so I wasn't sure about it. I liked it! I was in row 3 on the end so I didn't feel like I was way high up.

I couldn't figure out why they were not using the single rider line. :confused3

Glad you enjoyed the ride. :)

Glad to hear they were using the single rider line. They haven't been every time I have gone. It would have been so much easier than a fast pass.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the ride.

This is great that a single rider line exists on this ride. My husband and I both want to ride it but we have two young kids who can't. I don't think they can anyway, what is the height requirement? Would you recommend single line or baby swap?

single rider lines are underated we always use them. Its not like what you have to say to your friends/family can't wait five minutes. I have only rode this in California but i hear it is almost a carbon copy of the the one out there. I loved it

I know at IOA several of the rides that have single lines don't always have them open since the wait times are under 60 mins. I don't know why Disney is not using the single lines at Soarin' but I would imagine it has something to do with the wait times. But, that said, most rides always have the single lines open if it's at least a 60 minute wait.

In short.....who knows! :confused3

I'm glad they now have the single riders line. When I looked on 5/8 and 5/10, they weren't using it. However, I decided to brave the reported 35 minute wait (which thankfully was more like 20 minutes. I was in row #1, that goes the highest, and at first, only embarrassment kept me from screaming, "I've decided I am too afraid of heights!" It's so realistic, but by the time I got off, I couldn't wait to go on it again-just gotta get past that initial "Whoah!"
