Hi --
Its zmirby. I have a question regarding Soarin'. On the ride is there a seatbelt or harness you wear on the ride? Just a little confused! Only 7 days until WDW! Can't wait! Yaaahhhooo!!!

There is a seatbelt you have to put on. There is a strap that has to go through the belt (like on umbrella strollers) if the kid doesn't reach a certain height on the seat.
It's not like the ride will toss you out or anything. But you do go up pretty high if you're in the front row.

It's a seat belt type restraint. They also have, for the smaller set, another belt that loops through the seat belt. My DS5 used that, it's really for the younger kids.

It depends on who YOU are.

There is an "extra" center-strap that the "little-ones" can clip up between their legs that attaches to the regular lap-belt (no chance that they could "wiggle-free" this way).

There is no need for that extra strap for adults.

They just wear the standard seat belt-type restraint.

The belt is mostly a "piece-of-mind" kind of thing as this is not the kind of ride that requires one to be "held-in-place".

I'm almost certain that everyone (including adults) MUST have their seat belt in place before the start of the attraction.
