Soarin' problems?

Maybe I'm just imagining things, but has anyone noticed that the screen on the Soarin' ride has some small marks or imperfections? They weren't very large, but I found myself focusing on them each time I rode. Looked like little black splotches. Maybe I just need to get a life, but they kind of bugged me a little.

Yeah, I rode it three times during the press event so it's been a couple months, but I noticed it.
I really only noticed when the scene was at night - like when you go over a city and then Disneyland. (Was there a city at night? Like I said, it's been a little while.)

Well, at least I wasn't imagining things! It'd be nice to see if it got fixed -- It was late May when I was there last.

I noticed it when I was there in early May. Since the ride had just recently noticed, I was surprised that such a new attraction was in any disrepair.

I was just on SOARIN last week and I didn't notice it. Then again I was a little nervous on th ride. I would have liked to have ridden it again and to really enjoy it the second time.

I noticed the marks in May and had to make a conscious effort to not let my eyes focus on them. After I accomplished that, I loved the attraction!

Marks on the screen are not unusual as many people with nothing better to do but purposely try to destroy things. In the case of Soarin, is not uncommon for some "people" to try and throw things towards the screen.

I love this ride
I rode it 4 times during my May trip, and on my last ride I missed the smell of the pine trees and orange groves I did report to a CM after riding and he wrote down where I was sitting so they could check it. I asked if it made a difference where you were seated but he said no, it should be the same for everyone. I can hardly wait to go back on this Oct.

We rode Soarin' last Fri. two times and I also noticed what looked like black splotches on the screen, on the right side. I only noticed them at first. After that I was concentrating on the whole experience and they didn't bother me. I understand who it can be distracting though. Sometimes your eye catches something and just won't let you forget it!
