I always catch the golfball on Soarin' and my son looks forward to it every trip. Is there a new trick that someone has come up with as a replacement? Got any tricks to make special memories for other rides in WDW? Thanks!

Clever idea! I’ll try the golf ball catch in April with my son.

I guess you could bring a gemstone or crystal of some sort and have it fall into your lap while ridding the Dwarf Mine train.

The only "trick" for me...is trying not to get annoyed at the loud, obnoxious airplane and the hawk...or eagle...or falcon...or whatever scares the life out of me.

So a large bird flies right at you in Soarin'??? That might be a problem...

Those don't bother me. I have yet to ride Soarin' without sharing the same row as someone who shouts and screams all the way through. Seriously, be quiet and let me enjoy the blooming ride! If you must talk to your family, inside voices (or even better, whispers!), not outside voices!

Seriously, EVERY time!

So you're saying OP could squirt some Ranch dressing on his kid when the bird flies over?

That might just work! ....I expect Alfred Hitchcock in the next scene!! I don't scare easy, but that screechy thing gets me every time.

Us too. Either screaming teens, somebody who puts their elbow in my rib cage while holding on to the bar between the seats or people who talks loudly through the entire attraction.

I either get the shouters/screamers or the people who want to point out all the places they've been or want to go that are shown on the attraction.

My first ride on the new Soarin I had two people next to me who kept shouting "I'm going to vomit!" over and over through the whole thing. Fortunately, they didn't! :crazy2:
