Soarin Fp with old movie early June?

I know soarin Fp with new movie is available June 17 and on.....but week of June 10 is it possible to get a Fp to soarin with "old movie"? I thought I read a comment that they have some mid-afternoon ones available but I'm afraid to change my test track morning Fp to afternoon to see if it's available. Then if it's not, I'll lose my original morning test track time.

Can't you see if a Soarin FP is available without losing your original Test Track FP? If it shows up for your early June date, then wouldn't that indicate that it will be open with the old movie, and if it doesn't show up, then it is not? Not sure if it works like that and I could be wrong, but I remember when looking for other FP's, I'd modify the FP experience and the available attractions would show up.. If nothing was available that I wanted, I just hit cancel and kept my original FP.

I checked a couple of days ago and it isn't available. I haven't seen anyone post about it being a available.

Can't you see if a Soarin FP is available without losing your original Test Track FP? If it shows up for your early June date, then wouldn't that indicate that it will be open with the old movie, and if it doesn't show up, then it is not? Not sure if it works like that but I remember when looking for other FP's, I'd modify the FP experience and the available attractions would show up.. Yes if I click on modify it does not show soarin for "different experience" but I assumed they were showing me different experiences during my morning test track time. The rumor that I heard was they were only releasing mid afternoon soarin times before June 17.

You would be able to see anything available that day if you choose modify. Not just morning ones. It might would show Soarin and say something like no times available to match your search or something but you would see the attraction. Then you could change the time for when you were looking to see if there were something available then.

But I'm fairly certain there are no Soarin FP before June 17. Our dates are 6/4-6/11, so it would be nice if they do release them but I'm not holding my breath at this point.

Yes, I would be surprised if they got one for 6/16. Yes, maybe they mistyped. I'll look in a minute and see if I see anything for our Epcot day with FP (6/8).

Our dates are 5/31-6/7 and when I look at FP+ for Epcot, Soarin' is no longer listed at all, and Mission Space it back to being a Tier 1. When I made my FP+ reservations a few weeks ago, Soarin' was listed under Tier 1, but was unavailable, and Mission Space was listed as a Tier 2. I was thinking if they did open Soarin' early with the old movie, they may open it as standby only, with no FP+ until the new movie begins.

You are right...Mission Space is back to Tier 1 for 6/8 also! That kind of stinks. I wonder what happens to people that booked it as a 2. I guess they get to keep it as a 2? Now I'm wondering about FEA.

I have it booked as a Tier 2 for one of my EP days, with TT as the Tier 1. So far, it has let me keep both of them. However, if I go in to modify either of them, it will only let me pick a new experience in the Tier 2. It won't even let me change the time for the current attractions. I think I would have to cancel one of them before I could even change the time for the other.

Interesting...and that stinks! If I wanted to change the time, I'd probably call Disney and make a stink bc it's their mess up.
