Hey, you could go on the Community board here, as another clique.... :cool1: the foot kickers clique, LOL. :cool1: :happytv:

We haven't been back to WDW since Soarin' opened. But when I get to ride it in less than a month (yipppeee!) I have a feeling I'll be a foot kicker!

I don't kick my feet. I pull them back. Why? Because I'm not too bright.
I'm afraid my feet will hit the treetops. I can see doing this the first time, but the second time I did the same thing, then the third. My brain must think my feet are going to kick the top of the trees, so I pull my feet back to protect them. :thumbsup2

I love kickin' it barefoot on Soarin. I really think Disney is on to something there...unique ways to experience an attraction.:earsboy:

I usually don't. I figure I usually have been walking all day and me feet are too tired to kick. :cool1: So they just hang there resting.

:lmao: We could tie up the whole front page with rider cliques. There could be the Soarin Footkickers, Haunted Mansion screamers, Everest pukers, and on and on :rotfl:

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the time doesn't everyone? :cool1: :thumbsup2

I alternated between kicking my feet and lifting them up so I didn't kick the fisherman and golfers in the head.

I have not been on it yet but I am looking forward to riding it. I have a question does it cause any motion sickness and is it better to ride a certain row? I am a little nervous about it

I was kicking my barefeet and loving it... :woohoo:

Can you see other peoples feet above you?... I thought there was a canopy of sorts above us... doesn't that block the view of the other "rows"?... I didn't notice feet due to watching the movie so I don't know, I just didn't think it was even possible... :confused3

If you aren't in the first row, you can see the feet of the people in the row in front of you. They don't block the view. There is just a sillhouette of a row of feet across the top of your view. Can be a little distracting for some people.

Even though I've been on Soarin' about 10 times I still find myself lifting my feet as we first lift off the ground because I think that I'm gonna hit the railing in front of the screen. When will I ever learn . . . ?

Yes -- you can see other people's feet if you aren't in the top row. I often wait for a chance to ride in the top row!!

Both my DH and I are kickers during Soarin'. I love that ride, everything about it is relaxing.

I have no idea if I kick or not just never thought about it. I have noticed others in front of me lifting theirs over the trees. After my 5th or 6th ride I started leaning forward during the ride. The movement is much more noticable when you are not using the handholds or against the backrest.

No feet swinging here, I want the ride to do it all, is it your feet or the ride giving you the sensation?, so; no feet swinging here.

This is such a cute thread. Yes, I am a kicker but I didn't even realize it until I happened to look around the ride and saw a bunch of people doing it as well. I guess it just came naturally! :)

More foot-kickers here. We consider Soarin' an Interactive Experience. :thumbsup2

Dixie Luvr, I just have to say, that pic of your son says it all! A perfect summary of what a Disney vacation really means. :sunny:
